A graduate of Colorado State University, he resides in the Orlando area.

Darrell Brogdon

Applications Engineer

Darrell Brogdon is an Applications Engineer for SICK based out of Alabama. He is part of the Industrial Sensing group that covers sensors, encoders, measuring light grids, and IO-link devices. Darrell has been in the Automation industry since 2007 and has 3 degrees (Electrical, Electronics, & Telecommunications). While in college he worked as a Maintenance Technician for an Automotive Tier 1. By 2017, he grew to become the Engineering Assistant Manager at that same Tier 1, leading a team of Engineers and Maintenance Technicians on machine reliability, process improvement, & cost reduction activities. In 2019 he made a career change to become an Applications Engineer to use his knowledge and experience to help multiple companies with those same activities just on a larger scale.
