Meet the Speakers

Mark Nolan
Director of Offer Marketing Digital Power

Mark Nolan holds a BSEE degree from the University of Kentucky and is currently Director of Offer Marketing for Schneider Electric Digital Power in the United States.  He is a 24-year veteran of the power monitoring and controls industry.  His career started as a Project Application Engineer for Electrical Power Monitoring and Control Systems in 1998.  From that role, he progressed into Solution Sales Engineering, Marketing and Sales Support, and held various leadership roles in the Project Operations Team including Director of Engineering and Field Operations for 6 years. In his current role, Mark is responsible for representing the needs of US customers in the development of the products and solutions that advance the digitalization of power distribution.

Burt Deardorff
Vice President of Sales

Burt Deardorff holds a BSIE degree from the Georgia Institute of Technology and is currently Vice President of Sales for Advantage Industrial Automation.  He is a 30- year veteran of the industrial automation, controls, and power industry.  His career started in 1992 as a manufacturing engineer in Square D’s highly automated Asheville, NC facility where he developed his passion for industrial automation.  From that role, he progressed into a technical sales role at Schneider Electric and on to Advantage in 1998.  His sole focus is helping industrial end users, OEMs, and system integrators advance automation in the United States and beyond in the relentless pursuit of minimizing downtime, increasing productivity, eliminating safety issues, improving quality, and reducing energy costs.
